exam Rules

- You must bring picture ID to the exam.
- Calculators must be cleared at the start and end of each exam.
- If Dictionaries and thesauruses are permitted in an exam they will be checked
for notes.
- ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONIC DICTIONARIES!
- ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONES and NO PERSONAL MUSIC PLAYING

Not even if they are turned off.

- Diplomas CANNOT be rescheduled. Students who miss a Diploma Exam must
rewrite that exam in August or January.
- Exam Passes will be stamped when texts are returned. Bring stamped exam
passes to your exams.
- Prior arrangements must be made with teachers in the case of conflict exams.
- You may bring only those materials specified by your classroom teacher as
being acceptable for that exam.
- You must not communicate with anyone apart from exam supervisors during the
course of the exam.
- You must not disrupt the exam.

VIOLATION OF EXAMINATON RULES
Students who interfere with the security of examinations, falsify
examination results, disrupt other students or commit any other act
that may enable them to inaccurately represent their achievement
may:
- Be evicted from the examination room
- Have their examination invalidated
- Students violating Diploma Exam Rules may also:

be barred from writing any other Alberta Education diploma examination for a period not exceeding one year
have their official transcripts withheld for a period not exceeding
one year
have their official transcripts annotated

 Electronic Devices – Even if they are turned off

players,
 Electronic Dictionaries
 Purses / Pencil Cases / Bags / Backpacks
 Jackets / Hoodies
 Study Notes or Paper of any kind
 Calculator Cases
