Text Resources

	Use the Library Catalogue to locate books on your individual.
	REF 920 - Use one of the biographical dictionaries.
	Use the text encyclopedias (REF 031) to find an article.

Online Resources

A good place to start searching for biographical information is the Alberta Learning Online Reference Centre.

Go to Grolier Online or World Book to print an article on your individual from one (or more) of the encyclopedias.

Go to ELibrary Plus to find newspaper and magazine articles, excerpts from books, or transcripts of television/radio broadcasts about your individual.

To get a picture of your individual,

	go to the Online Reference Centre, ELibrary Plus
	enter the name in the search box.
	select "Pictures" for type of resource.

Use TIME Magazine: TIME 100 - People of the Century to research Leaders & Revolutionaries, Artists & Entertainers, Builders & Titans, Scientists & Thinkers, Heroes & Icons, and the Person of the Century.

Use Biography, the web site of the popular television series, to get a short article on your individual.
