Text Resources

bulletUse the library catalogue to search for text resources on your topic. Click on Start, EPS Applications, Library Catalogue.
bulletIf you find nothing using a subject search, use a keyword search.
bulletOf course we encourage you to ask library staff for assistance.
bulletYou can search the Edmonton Public Library and University of Alberta libraries. Go to the the MEL Library home page to do this.
bulletIf you have a public library card, you can reserve items online at the Edmonton Public Library, as well as using its databases.

Online Databases

Unlike World Wide Web resources, online databases contain quality resources carefully selected from scholarly text publications. These count as non-Internet sources.

bulletWhile you can access the databases from home, you will need the login names and passwords to do so.
bulletThe Online Databases page does not work outside the school.
