Use the library catalogue (Start, EPS Applications, Library Catalogue; shortcut on the desktop) to locate resources.

Online Databases

Go to the Alberta Learning Online Reference Centre and search for an encyclopedia article (Grolier Online, World Book) or magazine article (E-Library) on your topic.

Use the Canadian Reference Centre http://trial.epnet.com  (use the login name and password you get from library staff) to find an article on your topic.

Homework Center - Social Issues - http://www.multcolib.org/homework/sochc.html Librarian-selected links for research on social issues from different perspectives. Most include For, Against, and Legislation links. Note that the legislation referred to is American, not Canadian.
