10-2 Research Project for Class Presentation

This project will give you the opportunity to research and share information on a subject which you find interesting. Your first task is to decide what topic you wish to research. You can choose from a variety of different subjects. Possible categories include music, sports, movies, actors, musicians, literature, poetry, television series, historical events, clubs, or hobbies.

Once you have decided on a category you need to limit your topic. For example, if you choose music, what type of music are you going to research? You need to have several different topics in mind, as you may find that there is not enough information in the library on the subject you have chosen.

In the library you will be searching the internet and any relevant books to find information about the topic you have chosen. You will also look for pictures which could be put on a poster that will help you present your information to the class.

After reading through the project guidelines and expectations below, list three topics you would like to research in order of preference. You have the option of working with a partner, but remember that a longer presentation will then be expected.
